The Hildesheim Invaders and V-LINE EUROPE will be joining forces in the future
Sehnde, 06.04.2022. The Hildesheim Invaders and V-LINE EUROPE will be joining forces in the future. V-LINE EUROPE, headquartered in Sehnde south of Hannover and with locations worldwide, is the world’s leading service provider for MRO spare parts procurement – and this for more than 40 years. Now the medium-sized company is sponsoring the Hildesheim Invaders. The idea for this came from Hildesheim-based Arne Hartmann, Director of Global HR at V-LINE EUROPE. V-LINE thus becomes the Invaders’ new premium partner and will be present with its logo on the front of the helmet in the future. “We are very pleased to welcome V-LINE EUROPE, a strong company from the Hildesheim region, to the Invaders family. We plan to expand our joint work beyond mere sponsorship,” said Johannes Krupp from the Invaders’ board of directors. “We would like to support V-LINE in becoming even more present in the Hildesheim region, especially as an attractive employer.” Arne Hartmann has a similar view: “Having such a strong partner as the Hildesheim Invaders at our side is really great for us. It’s a stone’s throw from Hildesheim to Sehnde and many of our colleagues already come from the Hildesheim region. So, this cooperation is like a home game.”
More than 150 employees currently work at the V-LINE EUROPE site in Sehnde, and as many as 250 worldwide. The international group has sites in the USA, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and South Korea and serves its global customers from there. From well-known automobile manufacturers to aluminum and petrochemical companies, everything is included. The connection to the USA in particular was also the deciding factor for V-LINE to support a successful German American football team like the Invaders. Hartmann explains, “It just fit. Internationality and intercultural components are simply part of V-LINE’s DNA; the colleagues here work across national borders. Of course, we support them in this and offer exchange programs as well as internal and external training, for example.” But the company has even more up its sleeve. In addition to catering with coffee and fruit, which are, after all, almost standard these days, the company also takes care of company fitness, ergonomic workstations, bicycle leasing, mobile working, and even extras such as shopping and purchasing discounts for employees, for example. “We have created an attractive working environment. Now we want to grow and work as V-LINE even more than before on innovative and digital solutions,” says Hartmann. “To do this, we are looking for innovative minds – and with the Invaders as a partner, we are positioning ourselves strongly in this regard. For now, we’re looking forward to a great start to the season with the first home game on May 21.”
