Lower Saxony Prime Minister Christian Wulff meets V-LINE China

A very tight schedule for Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) Prime Minister Christian Wulff and his business delegation in China, after visiting Australia and New Zealand, left under 72 hours to conduct a political meeting with two newly appointed ministers and two party officials, host a business program marking opening of two local manufacturing plants by two Niedersachsen companies and to take part in a Tongji University Shanghai award ceremony awarding him an honorary doctorate degree and, finally, to meet the Chief Operating Officer of V-LINE China Representative Office Cui Tao and assistant Linda Zhang, to show support of Niedersachsen Small and Medium Industry.
“You are both working for a very good organisation with a proven business model in many parts of the world “ Prime Minister Wulff said, during a reception hosted by Nord LB on the famous MS MU DAN. “I trust it is a challenge to make success in China, but I learned from your CEO during the last days travelling that Chinese companies are looking more and more for total procurement cost savings and are eager to implement the best practices you bring”. “We are really honoured by the attention we received from Prime Minister Wulff” said COO of V-LINE China Cui Tao. “He understands exactly the challenges we face to win in China”. The German business delegation was from the highest level of the industry in Niedersachsen, including top executives or board members from Deutsche Messe AG, Continental AG, TUI, VW and Nord LB, as well from medium size companies like V-LINE, enjoying the support of the Government of Niedersachsen.
