V-LINE and SWCC conduct another continuous improvement workshop in Hanover Germany

V-LINE EUROPE GmbH announced today, after the close of a continuous improvement workshop with its major customer Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the reaching of a perfect match with the goals of both organizations to focus on specific key performance indicators to achieve further reductions in Total Procurement Cost.
In the 3-day workshop, Abdulaziz Al Mohammed and Mohammed Abdulkarim, SWCC's Manager for Prucurement and Manager for Planning and Support identified the hurdles for on-demand procurement and the related service requirements within the complete supply chain for “cross border” MRO parts supply and then together with a counterpart V-LINE Task Force identified detailed recommendations to improve existing handling and transactional processes.
“The main targets, fine tuning the contract business model and further exploring of best practices have been achieved ”said Detlev Daues the CEO and owner of V-LINE. “We believe the privatisation process in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as a relaxed budget will speed up the implementation of new models.”
Both companies agreed to
certain milestones in reaching the ultimate goal of streamlining processes to
cut the maximum time from the supply chain and therby realze lower inventory
with no risk for the end user.
